Semester 1 and 2
Last-M01 (mandatory module) 19 CP / 6 SWS
- Interdisciplinarity I (10 CP): Lecture (lecture series LASt) = 2 LP
- Course A = 4 CP + 4 CP exam
- Interdisciplinarity II (6 CP): Course B = 4 credits
- Project work = 5 credits
Last-M02 (mandatory module) 10 CP / 4 SWS

Semester 3
Study abroad LASt-M04
When studying abroad, study and examination achievements are required that correspond to 30 CP. The study and examination achievements are recognized as part of the master's program in Latin American Studies on the basis of a previously concluded learning agreement.
Semester 4
Final module LASt-M05 30 CP/ 1 SWS
- Colloquium = 1 credit
- Master's thesis = 25 credits
- Oral examination (defense of the master's thesis) = 4 credits
Program Outcome
- Acquisition of scientific competence in interdisciplinarity.
- Ability to comparatively deal with methods, content, and terminology of the disciplines involved in Latin American studies through training in a creative and networking approach to current issues. Development of a research project to create individual profiles.
