Introduction
Logistics and supply chain management throughout the world has never been the subject of so much public, organizational, and academic debate as in recent years. Logistics and supply chains have become a prominent and dynamic area in a wide range of industries and sectors. The global pandemic, port congestion, and Brexit have drawn out activities that normally happen in the background into the foreground.
Alongside this, the debates surrounding globalization, onshoring, supply chain configuration, sustainability, and industry/supply chain 4.0 make this field dynamic and future-focused. The globalization of activities makes it essential that professional practices relating to (international) logistics and supply chain management processes are improved and regarded as a key element in the preparation of organizations’ strategies. The programme supports the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular: Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production, and Goal 13 - Climate Action, alongside a live business challenge.
Typical entry points to this course are in January and September.
