A Social Scholarship may be awarded to a student/doctoral student who is in a difficult financial situation and whose monthly net income per person in the family does not exceed the amount specified in a separate Announcement on the amount of individual types of benefits agreed with the Student Government and the Doctoral Students' Government.
In particularly justified cases, a student/doctoral student may receive an increased social scholarship.
A Scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student/doctoral student with a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, or a certificate referred to in Art. 5 and Art—62 of the Act of 27 August 1997 on vocational and social rehabilitation and employment of disabled people.
The amount of the scholarship depends on the degree of disability. A student/doctoral student who finds himself or herself in a temporarily difficult life situation may receive aid.
The Rector's scholarship for students may be awarded to a student who has achieved outstanding academic results, has scientific or artistic achievements, or sports achievements in competition at least at the national level.
The Scholarship can be awarded to
- A student admitted to the first year of studies in the year of taking the Matura exam who meets at least one of the following conditions:
- Is a winner of an international olympiad or a winner or finalist of a central level olympiad referred to in the provisions of the education system,
- Is a current medalist of at least a sports competition for the title of Polish Champion in a given sport referred to in the provisions of the Sports Act;
- A student who achieved outstanding academic results. Master's degree students can apply for this scholarship on their first year of studies while Bachelor's degree students only after their first year of studies.
- A student of first or second-cycle studies who, in the previous academic year (preceding the application submission), had scientific or artistic achievements, or sports achievements in competition at least at the national level, assessed according to the principles described in the Regulations.
- Tuition fees are competitive and significantly lower than in other EU Universities. Tuition fees range from 500-2000 USD per semester. Please check our website for more information about Tuition fees. (The majority of study programs in English cost 2000 USD per semester. There are two semesters in each academic year);
- The application fee per study program is only 85 PLN* (approx. 20 Euros) and candidates can apply for up to 4 study programs increasing their chances of getting in;
*150 PLN if you apply for a BSc in Architecture/ BA in Design/ BSc in Industrial Design and must take the drawing skills exam on campus and 100 PLN for candidates for second-cycle studies, who are obliged to take an entrance exam - an online interview. - Every foreign student accepted to TUL can be accommodated in one of 9 Student Halls of Residence. Just a 2-minute walk away from the campus. The cost of accommodation in single and double rooms is approximately 150 Euros per month. For accommodation details, please refer to our website.
