Here's a list of scholarships you can apply for if you'd like to get a Master's in the UK as an international student:
University scholarships
- Rhodes Scholarship – Rhodes Trust, Oxford University (covers the tuition and awards £18,180 per year (£1,515 per month) for living expenses, including accommodation)
- Clarendon Scholarships - Oxford University (200 fully funded scholarships)
- Various faculty-specific scholarships – University of Edinburgh (offering a range of options, from tuition fee waivers or a couple thousand pounds of worth of scholarships)
- School of Management MSc Scholarships – University of Bath (four tuition fee waivers and over 30 scholarships of £5,000)
- The Sanctuary Scholarships – University of Bath (one full-ride scholarship and a grant of up to £15,609)
- Warwick Taught Master’s Scholarship Scheme – University of Warwick (up to £10,000 per student, for a total of 50 students)
Scholarships funded by governmental bodies and external organizations
- The Chevening Scholarship – Covers the tuition fees and all administrative and travel costs involved in your move to the UK. It also includes a monthly stipend and a top-up allowance (the amount depends on the city you live in).Funded by the UK government.
- The Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships - Full tuition fee coverage, monthly stipend (£1,236 per month, or £1,516 per month for those at universities in the London metropolitan area), additional allowances, and a childcare allowance in certain cases. Funded by the UK government.
- The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship - Scholarships of up to £10,000 awarded to students aiming to get a Master’s degree in Wales. It's a collaboration between several organizations, and is funded by Taith, a Welsh exchange program.
- Women in STEM Scholarship - Organized by the British Council, and includes tuition fees, stipend, travel costs, visa and health coverage fees, as well as special support for mothers and people with caring responsibilities.
Major-specific scholarships
- Department of Bioengineering Scholarship – Imperial College London (£4,999 one-off payments to 5 prospective Master’s researchers)
- College of Health, Science and Society Dean's Scholarship - Bristol, University of the West of England(100% tuition fee waiver)
- Southampton Sociology and Criminology Postgraduate International Scholarship - University of Southampton (two scholarships of £5,000)
- Wintech Scholarship - Bristol, University of the West of England (one scholarship of £10,750, paid in three installments)
- School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies International Excellence Scholarship – University of Leeds (25% fee deduction to a Master’s student in one of the aforementioned areas)
Privately funded scholarships
- Gates Cambridge Scholarship – Gates Foundation (covers the tuition fees for Cambridge university program and the administrative costs related to visa and travel; it also includes a maintenance allowance of £18,744 for 12 months and additional discretionary funding like childcare or maternity/paternity allowance)
- Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships - Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust and Oxford University (these scholarships cover the student’s tuition fees and provide a stipend of at least £17,668 meant to be used for living expenses)
- Master’s in Europe Scholarship – educations.com (£5,000 to be used to cover tuition fees)
