The Toulouse Graduate School of Earth and Space Science offers two grants for master's students partcipating in the TESS programme.
Settling In Grant
The Settling In Grant aims to provide financial support to cover once-off relocation costs to students joining the TESS program from abroad or outside of the Académie de Toulouse.
Selection criteria: All students, regardless of nationality, registered for the first year of the TESS program are eligible to receive the Settling In Grant which is awarded as follows:
- €1500 is granted to each student registered at an institution outside of France in the year before enrolling for TESS.
- €800 is granted to each student registered at a French institution outside of the Académie de Toulouse in the year before enrolling for TESS.
Going Abroad Grant
The Going Abroad Grant aims to allow TESS master’s students to complete an internship abroad by contributing to travel costs.
The maximum funding available: €5 000 per student
Selection criteria:
- Students must be registered in the first or second year of the TESS master’s program
- Students may only receive the grant once during the TESS masters program, either during their first or second year of study
- The bursary may be requested for the TESS Reinforced Internship or the master’s internship
- Only internships taking place abroad are eligible
- The amount of each bursary is determined by the steering committee and takes into account the location of the internship, duration of stay, etc.
